Arsenal were thrashed 10-2 on aggregate by Carlo Ancelotti’s side with Ozil singled out for criticism, particularly following an insipid first leg display.
Davies made the claim during The Tuesday Club podcast which he hosts along with fellow comedian Ian Stone, and revealed Bould was so wound-up by Ozil’s lack of effort that he hurled a bottle in the direction of the Germany international.
Davies said: ‘Steve Bould threw a plastic bottle at Mesut Ozil in the Allianz arena dressing room.
‘And either Bould or Ozil can sue me if they like, but that’s true.
‘So there is anger in there.’
Davies made the allegations following a discussion regarding the lack of leaders among the Arsenal ranks and was again critical of Ozil’s performance in Monday’s 3-0 at Crystal Palace, which dealt a near terminal blow to the Gunners’ hopes of a top four finish.
‘Ozil hid at Palace,’ he said. ‘The way he hides is he comes deep and gets the ball off the back four, he hides at halfway.
‘He looks busy in the centre circle but that is hiding. We don’t need to there, we need you in the final third.’
