Ahead of the November election in the state, the Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial district, Dino Melaye, has released a new song to deride Governor Yahaya Bello.
The song titled ‘Kogi Koya… Kogi ko Bello (Kogi rejects suffering, Kogi rejects Bello)’ is the latest among the many so far released since 2015 by the controversial lawmaker to mock his political adversaries.
The latest song has gone viral on social media after it was posted on his Instagram page @dinomelaye on Tuesday.
The governor is seeking reelection on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) where he is alleged to be facing challenges in getting the party’s ticket.
Bello has recently received strong criticisms from political players within and outside the party for owing workers’ salaries up to 39 months without any legacy project to show for all the billions the state has earned since 2016.
Even though he has recently apologized and urged Kogi people to trust him for another term, forces in his party are not relenting in their determination to stop him from getting the party’s ticket.
