Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested former acting chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Uche Secondus.
Secondus was said to have been arrested by the EFCC on Wednesday in Abuja.
It was not clear why Secondus was arrested, but this newspaper gathered that it might not be unconnected with the current investigations by the EFCC concerning fraud perpetrated under the immediate past PDP administration.
Investigators are said to be grilling the former PDP acting national chairman at the EFCC headquarters in Abuja.
