President Muhammadu Buhari has described Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Samaila Mera, as “a young and dynamic leader who should be a fountain of inspiration for our young generation aspiring to be leaders in the future.”
In a statement on Friday, President Buhari said, “I’m proud to join other Nigerians to celebrate you on the occasion of your 25th anniversary on the throne.”
According to the President, the Emir of Argungu “has demonstrated remarkable leadership qualities at a relatively young age, and this should be a source of inspiration for our youths.”
“Alhaji Samaila Mera has not only disproved the notion that our youths are incapable, but he also imbibed the humility of his late father, Alhaji Muhammadu Mera,” said the President.
“As you celebrate your Silver Jubilee, I extend to you my warmest and heartfelt best wishes on this joyous occasion. May Allah continue to guide you in the discharge of your enormous responsibilities, and bless you with more good health in the years ahead, Amin,” the President added.
