The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Monday arrested the Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission, Emeka Mba in connection with his alleged involvement in the diversion of over N15 billion fund.
EFCC investigators are said to have been on the commission for some weeks now.
Last week, some EFCC operatives stormed the NBC headquarters ransacking computers and files in the Finance and Account departments and arresting some key Accounts staff
A source in the EFCC told Thinkers Newspaper that the Monday arrest of Mba is not unconnected with the confessional statements made by the arrested staff which implicated the commission’s boss.
