Chairman of the Kano state chapter of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Mr. Kabiru Ado Minjibir has said that nationwide strike by the congress would be effective from Thursday, May 19,2016.
Minjibir said its initial setback was as a result of a communication gap.
“We held a meeting today and we have restrategized against the second day of the strike. We have directed all afiliate unions in the state to mobilize their members, and I can assure you, the strike will be effective tomorrow,” he said.
