A Yobe State frontline politician and two-term member of the House of Representatives (2011-2019), Isma’ila A. Gadaka, has commended the governing style of Governor Maimala Buni despite pockets of lingering security challenges bedeviling the state.

Speaking to this medium in Damaturu, Yobe State capital, the frontline politician praised the efforts of Governor Buni for the giant strides recorded within his short in office.

“It is a known fact that Yobe State has its own brand of security challenges just like in other states of the federation. But the challenges have not diverted the attention of the governor from providing the basic requirements of the people through prudent management resources and transparent leadership

“In the unfortunate insecurity situation we found ourselves, the governor was able to conduct a free and fair local government council election without hitches. He provided a level playing field for active participation of all parties that indicated interest in the election which indicates maturity, political tolerance and respect to the rule of law as spelt out in the 1999 Constitution (amended)

“So far, the governor has carried all along in his governing style for the unity and progress of the state in his anticipation for a better Yobe State that deserves the support of all irrespective of party affiliation

“Not only providing and fulfilling his 2019 campaign promises to the people of Yobe State but he is also piloting the affairs of our great party at the national level with decorum, expertise and total commitment to the sustenance of the democracy

“As we can attest to the fact that APC through his pragmatic leadership as national caretaker committee chairman, has grown from strength to strength to maintain its lead in the democracy which is anchored on good governance and respect to the rule of law that is to be sustained beyond 2023”.

Hon. Gadaka commended the people of Yobe State for their support to the ongoing APC membership registration and revalidation exercise and expressed his confidence for more fruitful years ahead for the party as the vanguard of the state

“I must commend APC members in Yobe State for trooping out in large numbers for the party’s registration and revalidation exercise which indicates support and commitment to the success of the party in coming elections. As stakeholders, we are always in support of the objectives of the governor and at the service of the people as a bond” he said.
